Coca-Cola is set to celebrate the 100th anniversary of its iconic bottle design, which has been in circulation since 1915 when the Root Glass Company won a design competition with the "Mae West" bottle. Since then, the well-known bottle has risen to an iconic level, and in commemoration of this branding centennial, the High Museum of Art in Atlanta is opening The Coca-Cola Bottle: An American Icon at 100 exhibit, which will run February 28th through October 4th in a two-floor display. While the upper level will house about 100 pieces of art and photography, the first-floor lobby will welcome visitors with more than 500 bottles 3D printed by Shapeways. Designed with Conran and Partners, Shapeways 3D printed the pieces to hang from the ceiling.
