We've seen several engine designs 3D printed over the course of the past several months, but now Monash University in Australia have unveiled two metal Jet Engines that they have 3D printed using selective laser sintering technology. It should be interesting to see how this innovative process matures over the course of the next several years. Will we one day soon see jet engines being 3D printed for real-time flight? Will this technology be used in space and on other planets to fabricate working engines for space shuttles? It should be interesting to see how it all unfolds. What do you think?
