3D printed guns obviously entail significant courtesy, but now we're starting to really see implications all throughout their supply chain -- including delivery to customers. Cody Wilson, of Defense Distributed, has stirred the pot lately with his Ghost Gunner open source hardware project that '3D prints' a portion of the AR-15 assault rifle. FedEx has now told Wilson that he cannot use their service to ship Ghost Gunner units. While Defense Distributed's legal team has advised that they are not breaking any laws with the Ghost Gunner, it does remain within FedEx's rights to decline the business.
