3D artist Craig Barr’s menacing looking, zombie-lamprey hybrid creature, the Viscerator, emerged from its virtual existence to the physical world in a fascinating process Barr describes in a video demo of his workflow. Barr, who works for Autodesk, makes the most of Autodesk 3D design tools, Maya, Mubox, and Meshmixer to create his monster, which he printed using a Zortrax M200 3D printer as both a full model and a bust. An accomplished artist, Barr finished the figure by hand an the results are impressive!
