Hi!
Looking to change the hotend on my Wanhao D5s mini. I'll CAD the mounting, but would like the electronics to be compatible. 24V seems to be the voltage used.
What is the best BOWDEN hotend...
Thinking of cutting and tapping the inside of the old nozzle to m6-1 threads; using it as a converter. Then I could use old E3d nozzles that I have lying around. Any reason that wouldn't work?

Hey!
My Wanhao 5s mini nozzle is really beaten upp, and I'm looking for a new one. Any cheap suggestions? The OEM ones seem to go for about 20$ each, and have questionable quality. Any way to use...
EDIT: Bought the printer. Cheers :)
Bought the 5s mini after looking at it in person. Thanks for the tips!
Cheers
Would you say the Tornado is better than Wanhao Duplicator 5s mini? That printer seems to go for about 900$ online, so 350$ used seems pretty good. Although maybe it performs worse than the newer,...
Got the knowledge from building the Anet (and oh god, all the repairs), so won't be an issue with repairs :)
Buying from America --> big shipping, and 15-25% in taxes.
But thanks for the tip!
EDIT: Went for the wanhao 5s mini!
Cheers
How is it compared to the knp3d?
Usually co.uk, or the new german one. Sometimes tricky with shipping, but can usually figure something out.
I live in Sweden, but visit america every year. So shipping would be 70$, but then it would cost another 80-110$ for the luggage home.
I can get a similar printer for 450-500$? Would prefer not to...
Is it worth buying a knp3d, even if shipping will cost me 150-200$?
Cheers
Found a temporary fix (could be permanent, it works well). Removing these lines, then hand-setting the nozzle to the right height before each print:

Hi!
For some reason my Anet A8 has started printing 1cm too high. It happened after one print finished, when I tried to start the next one. I have adjusted the heatbed, lowered the nozzle,...
Fixed my old board, but will probably end upp changing it in the months to come anyways (dont trust the current one, at all).
Thanks for the tips, they have been bookmarked! :D
Yep! 5-6 prints done so far, no issues :) The thermistor on the heatbed is a bit messed upp though, but no biggie. It is reading about 20C higher than it is, but have a new one on the way, and its...
I solved it! :D Removing both those capacitors, and not bridging, did the trick. Just two blank spots, where I had circled in the picture.
My mainboard appears to be toast. Will this work with the Anet A8 as a replacement?

Stopped working again :/
I have to check, the ones marked in yellow are capacitors, right?
