I've had my powerspec pro for awhile now and I love it, but the reality is I hardly use it. I planned on doing abs, but haven't ever even had the need to use it or try it yet. I don't need dual print...
Thank you so much! Greatly appreciated!
Now it's back up and running and i leveled the bed but still getting just globes.

lol I have no idea
Hmm, i wonder if anyone has a break down picture of this assembly? I couldn't find it.
I know there are 2 plastic spacers that hold the fan to the heatsink, but this is brass.
Thank you! I'm using the makerbot desktop version 3.7.0.95
I learned my lesson to remove the filament every time i'm done printing or else it breaks off in the feed assembly.
So after taking the entire thing apart I got the piece that broke off and went to...

Just my luck, both print heads are jammed. I tried to stick a sewing needle in there with no luck. Any other ideas? I took the fan off and can't visually see anything.
Hmm that's a good idea
Filament was set to 1.77 and it's 1.75 diameter so I changed that.
Print speed is 50 and travel speed is 150mm. These are all default setting I never changed anything. So...
that is whats happening halfway though the print so i just stop it early and toss it. otherwise the nozzle keeps hitting it every time it passes over it.
Not sure what else to check. bed is level,...
lol been printing non stop since last night and everyone has the same issue.
So I think I got past that point. I keep trying to continue my print and keep getting this. I tried 2 different rolls of PLA. Never had this issue either. I also re leveled the bed and all is good...
Ah good to know. I'll look into it. Thanks
Printer has been working good for awhile and haven't had any real issues. Tried to use it today for a 6 hour print and it printed about 10% good then after that the printer continued to do its thing...
I got a powerspec 3d pro from micro center. It's not $500, it's $799, but has some good features. 2 heads, ability to ABS.
I have nothing to compare it to as it's my first printer and I've only had...
Did you download makerbot desktop? Find the files there, click on settings and select your settings, then click export file. Save it to an SD card and start to print.
Yes if there is a way to do the outlines or 2d to interface between the two that would be great. The dxf doesn't have cut paths on it, that comes later when I generate the gcode.
Is there a way to me to convert my STL files for my 3d printer to DXF so i can print them on my plasma cnc? Or vicea versa?
I made a small wrench about 5" long, double ended. I tested it and it works great, what settings should I use for optimal strength?
I know it's not going to be a complete replacement for metal one,...
