Spanish technology company BQ is acting as the distributor for the “My First Robotics Kit” featuring brightly colored, 3D printed pieces that kids can assemble into a working robot. The BeetleBot, complete with frontal pincers, has parts that can also be printed at home for anyone who has access to a 3D printer. And for those who don’t yet have access, maybe because they also have kids and worry about the relationship between offspring and machine, BQ has introduced the WitBox 3D printer which is specifically designed to exist in a child-infested environment.
