    Exclamation Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I broke a part on my rc car I have a 3d printer. How do i convert the part into a stl file to upload to make 3d printer? Please help!!!

    Add bshadown on Thingiverse
    You have to desing the part on your favorite 3D desing software, save it as .STL and then slice it with any slicing program like slic3r, then print it on your 3D printer. Cheers

    Do you have a 3D design software program, and if so, which one?
    Can you post an image or two of the part so we can see how complex it is?

    I am starting to use sketch up but can't do anything detailed yet

    Those are fairly simple parts. Unfortunately I only work in solidworks not sketchup or I could model up a representative part pretty easily that you could then modify with correct dimensions. Perhaps someone else here that works with sketchup could do that for you.
