ProtoPlant Launches KS Campaign for Extremely Conductive Filament

ProtoPlant has had a very busy year, which included launching Proto-pasta and six new 3D printing filaments. Their latest, which is being launched via Kickstarter campaign today, is Conductive PLA. The filament is hyper conductive, with 60-7,000x more conductivity than currently available comparable funds, and can create functional electronics. The Kickstarter campaign has various pledge levels, which will get investors filament, a Stylus Kit, a Creator Kit, a Controller Kit, or more, depending on the level pledged. The (seemingly modest) goal for the campaign is just $2,250. Check out more details, including specifications and videos of the conductive filament in action, in the full article: http://3dprint.com/34008/protoplant-conductive-pla/
Below is a look at some of the products that can be made using the Conductive PLA filament:

Time will make this a better technology. Still too early for me to want to invest.

When they can power LED's, a lot will happen.

I wonder what the resistivity is for a square mm wire.
