At the end of the year, many teachers present their classes with some little treats to celebrate the holidays. Issaquah, Washington 4th and 5th grade SciTech teacher Shaun Cornwall treated his students, at Clark Elementary School, to a more exciting, and still educational, treat. Using a design made by Microsoft and free on Thingiverse, Cornwall 3D printed 50 mini catapults for his class. The students assembled the pieces to create functional catapults and incorporated them into a fun math lesson measuring distances fired.
