    Makerbot 2x build plate acting strange

    I just noticed that at the end of the initial purge line prior to part printing the build plate makes a negative step and contacts the nozzle for what seems like a couple of seconds. Is this normal? Firmware version is 7.6

    The machine has been down for about 2 months with hot end issues. I just noticed this after the new hot end rebuild and the latest firmware upgrade...
