Simplify3D Updates Software Suite

Broader compatibility is sure to benefit designers and technicians involved in the various facets of 3D printing, and knowing that your new hardware platform is compatible with your favorite software is critical. The latest update to Simplify3D's software has added compatibility with 19 more 3D printers, bringing their total supported printer list to over 100 models. All the features you list in your blog post have been features in the software for at least a year now. It doesn't look like you touched on any of the new features, other than mention more machines are supported now.

New update has been released:
Simplify3D says they offer software compatible with about 90% of the 3D printers on the market today. They are now expanding, offering compatibility with Dremel's recently introduced Dremel Idea Builder 3D printer. The software also extends to South Korea's Moment 3D printers. In addition, Simplify3D offers its users improved print quality and the ability for users to calibrate spacing between interlocking parts. OK, that's interesting. Their changelog and quick start guides don't explain where that setting is though, and don't even say what they call the setting. It's odd that the PR & changelog use different terminology than the software does.

It's in Other->Dimensional Adjustments. "Horizontal Size Compensation".

Ideally, you keep that in mind in part design phase, and make sure your extrusions are well-adjusted, but there are so many non-ideal models out there.

It's nice to have, hopefully the improved path planning helps too.

Hmm, missed that. Downloaded the latest version last night.

I usually adjust the gears in opensca. Be interesting to see how the simplify3d modification compares.
Could be useful for printing the secret heart box as well :-)

The infill still isn't solid though :-(
