People build 3D printers for all sorts of reasons. Most of these reasons are for the customization and creation of individual products. Some do it for fun, while others do it for business. For one lady though, the construction of her RepRap 3D printer was not for any of these reason. Lina Bergstrom of Denmark built her "Bling" 3D printer as rather a social experiment. She was almost frightened by the complexities of technology, thus she decided to face it head on by building a 3D printer that she could call her own.
