    How to install guide tubes

Is there some sort of trick that I'm missing about putting the long black guide tubes into the top of the extruder holes? They seem to be bigger than the holes. Am I suppose to crimp them or something?

No, they should be a perfect fit. The newer flashforge won't let them in unless you push the spring load, as that locks the tube in also at the top, the old FF you simply push it in the hole and pray it doesn't pop out - they definitely should not be too big.

Haven't used guide tubes on my original Replicator since forever. Hang the spools above and let it feed straight down. Much less hassle.
