High quality 3D printer - what's the best

    Hi Guys,

I'm quite new in the world of 3D printing. I'm looking for a 3D printer (plastic) to print high quality parts (must look very good, must be precise). For example a watchcase (it's the nearest example of my application). What will be the best printer for this? professional and not professional.

And what about metal 3D printers?

    Thanks very much!

    Wish ya a good printing!

Your going to want a resin printer for that kind of detail. Form labs, pegasus, etc. for metal, only if you got a cool million burnin a hole in your pocket

If you're looking for prints with both visual and mechanical accuracy, and you have a megabudget, consider Objet's Multi Jet machines. They can print abs with properties similar to an injection molded part. Accuracy 0.016 mm.
