Australia-based Flying Machine creates luxury bicycles built to order. In a bid to keep up with the latest technology and recognizing the benefits of small-batch production, Flying Machine has teamed up with the Commonwealth Science and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) to 3D print titanium lugs for custom bicycle frames. The bicycles -- available now in three models -- ship worldwide, and each is custom-made to customer specifications. The use of 3D printed titanium lugs allows a custom frame to made in about 10 days, and the entire luxury bike to be built within around three weeks.
