Doctors 3D Print Hip for Cancer Patient

We have seen 3D printed used in hospitals around the globe. It's been used for many different things within the medical field, especially in the creation of medical models. Doctors in China, however, have been coming up with all different uses for the technology. Now they have successfully 3D printed a titanium hip replacement using EBM (electron beam melting), and and used it to aid in the recovery of a woman afflicted by bone metastases.
