    If you scroll to the end, I have some debug code inserted into his Marlin_main.cpp file. I suspect we are going to get his problem figured out pretty quickly. And there is a fair chance his problem is the same as your problem.

    Fri, can you post your Configuration.h file? I want to check something.

    Sorry for not getting back sooner, I am traveling for the next week.
    Roxy, i am going to try the marlin main cpp you inserted.

    Please see attached config.h of my original fw that worked and then stopped. Viki and eeprom are turned on.

    Fri, do any of the end point limit switches get pressed by the bed when you are doing a G29?

    No, it does not. Have to say, I don't have any endpoint limit switches.

    How do you home X and Y without endstop switches?

    I thought you were talking about max limit switches. I do of course have endstop switches x y z min.

    Yes, Z . I am using a proximity sensor. Z is then also triggered at the last leveling point.

    This is after a factroy reset M502, M500 G28 G29. Then the eeprom after a reconnect/reset.

    It would be helpful to see the Bed Level Correction matrix.
