3D Print Your Own Full Size Brain for $430 - Brainform

New Zealand-based Brainform is now offering 3D printed brains modeled after real MRI scans. If you have your own MRI, you can have a full- or half-scale model of your own brain sitting on your desk. If not, you can order one of their stock brains. Models are 3D printed using SLS process, one hemisphere at a time. Check out the full article here: http://3dprint.com/20437/brainform-3d-prints-brains/

This is a scam! I sent my MRI to them and all I got back was a stand!

Hi there Brian, thank you so much for the wonderful article about us. We are so happy to be finally up and running. We are wondering if the damaging posts below are able to be removed. We are a hard working and legitimate business and feel this behavior is dangerous. In fact, being so new our first orders are still in production, therefore nobody could have received even a stand from us as of yet. Thank you, The team @ BrainformNZ.

How embarrassing... Sorry guys we were suffering from a lack of sleep when viewing these. If it's any consolation for the empty heads, we're happy to sell you a stock brain so you can at least pretend.

Of course Geoff and my posts were jokes. You don't think any red-blooded Aussie bloke could resist taking a shot at a Kiwi? Next thing you'll be trying to tell us that victory in the Bledisloe Cup is a serious matter.

And very red faced we are, sorry lads. Haha, well it is the physically largest trophy in professional rugby, that's something worth fighting for isn't it?
