While conventional facial prostheses cost up to $15,000 and take weeks to create, 3D printed prostheses can be created in only a few hours and at a significantly lower price tag. With insurance not always covering facial prostheses, savings can be significant and broaden the availability of these devices to enhance the quality of life of patients across the world.
