so what does it do differently than the existing extruder ?
I've also found some ninjaflex like filament that's 3x cheaper.
Got a sample to try, looks and feels good. If it prints okay it'll make flexible prints much more economically viable.
from a uk company calle: www.wedo3dprinting.com
the filament is called easyflex. It's tpe - same as ninjaflex. So it's stretchy tough rubber, not flexible pla.

But whereas ninjaflex is £50 for a 1lb roll.
Easyflex is just £35 for a 1 kg roll !
That's a serious difference.
I've got a 10 metre sample to play with, I've spooled it onto one of my bog-roll reels :-). Even the sample came with a big sealable bag.Last edited by curious aardvark; 12-05-2014 at 06:14 AM.

Got a couple of uploads on the way. A little thing for plucking and cleaning down off dead birds (we get a lot of pheasant and wild duck this time of year and currently got a nice sized goose hanging in the utility room :-).
And a full kit bottle bird feeder with hanging hook, funnel and removeable plug so you can easily refill without unscrewing from the bottle.
Good christmas present plus I can fit everything on the bed for a single print. haven't made one in pla yet - so just need to check measurements as it was designed in abs and the tolearences are pretty tight.
Trying to think of uses for this flexible stuff. My next bird plucker design will probably use a little to grip the feathers.
The easyflex is as tough and stretchy as the ninjaflex.
I did manage to snap a piece - but it took some doing.
Got some workshop time this afternoon - right after I've finished making the christmas mincemeat, I reckon this batch is well over 20lb. Only just fits in my sausage meat mixer.
Didn't manage to finish the semi-auto citrus zester in time. Next year for sure :-)
Please explain to me how to...
