Makerbot thinks Home position is off to the Right

Hi,
I just got a 5th gen Makerbot replicator and every time I try and level the build plate the or when I start a print, the extruder will move to the far right of the build plate and start to try and print there. I have power cycled, reset defaults, upgraded firmware and moved the head manually to different places (while turned off). I'm pretty much at a loss as to what is going on.

Any Ideas?

Try updating the firmware, there has been a lot of updates since release

take it back and get a gen 2.
By what I've heard about the 5th gens - you'll be a lot happier with an earlier model.
