Geez, it seems like there is a lot going on within the materials space for 3D printing these last few weeks. Last night, NanoSteel announced that they will be entering the additive manufacturing materials space with a new steel powder used in laser sintering machines. The new powder produces objects which are crack-free, and 99.9% dense, and could really lead to some major changes in manufacturing for many companies who now rely on a tungsten composite materials for many laser sintered products. More details on this new steel powder can be found here: http://3dprint.com/16720/nanosteel-3d-print-steel/
