SeeMeCNC Droplit SLA Printer
SeeMeCNC has unveiled yet another printer this weekend at Maker Faire Detroit. The printer which is still in production will use stereolithography technology, based on a DLP projector. It will not come with the projector, which would need to be purchased separately. Initially there was a price for $399 listed on the website, but that price has been removed. Whether it will remain at that price is yet to be seen. The first 10 beta printers will be produced shortly. More details on this printer can be found here: http://3dprint.com/10462/seemecnc-droplit-3d-printer/

He strongly recommended a 1080p projector though, and that was $700 or $800. So the advertised sticker price of the kit thats bandied about 's a bit misleading, in my opinion, when the majority of the cost is sold separately. I understand why they don't want to sell the projector though.
The company and their machines seem to have a solid reputation.
