3D Printer Filament is not round!

Don't mean to bump up an old post for no reason, but I just realized this too. My filament was not round, I think because of the way I was storing it. What would be the best way to store it to preserve its roundness?

I doubt that it is due to how you stored your filament. Most likely it wasn't round when you got it.

Oh really? I would think that if I stored it in a hot humid place kinda packed together with other spools, it would compress. You don't think that's the cause?
