We have certainly been hearing a lot about metal 3D printing as of late. Last week it was the Matterfab big announcement, and now a company called Zecotek has announced that they have been working on a new 3D printer capable of high speed metal 3D printing with special metal alloy materials. The exact details have not been revealed, but more information can be found here: http://3dprint.com/9811/metal-3d-print-zecotek

What implications will all these new tidbits of news around the metal 3d printing space ultimately have on the manufacturing industry? I guess only time will tell. Opinions?
