Printer Skipping layer when lifting nozzle
Hello.
I'm using Cura 4.6 and the printer is a Longer LK4.
The printer doesn't have this problem as much or as niticable with an older version of Cura that came with the printer. I really wan't to use the newer version of Cura but before I start changing settings I've attached some photos of the problem.
When the nozzle has to lift itself like in the examples I've attached, it seems to skip a layer. Is this a z hop or retraction issue? It seems to happen on all sliced objects that have these features. it doesn't happen all over the print, only at the first layer where the printer starts to hop from side to side severely compromising the structure. Hopefuly you can see the skipped layer in the pictures.
All help is apreciated.
Thank you

Turning off Z hop seems to have fixed the problem. I also got no stringing with Z hop off. Is there a way to have Z hop on and not have a layer skip?
Thank you
