Completly new to 3d printing
Hi everyone
my name is Peter and im looking to get an 3dprinter and start
My main focus whould be printing parts for e scooters for modding and sutch
Wat printer is good and has a good price and wat filament whould be best for fenders and sutch items, i was thinking of the carbon fiber filaments but like i said i a compleet noob and only saw a few vids on youtube

carbon fibre filament tends to be fairly brittle - unless you get nylon with carbon.
tricky to print with - but strong and tough.
You could also probably use petg - which would give you the option of native colour.
Also the stiffer flexible filaments make good fucntional parts and are virtually indestructible.
My favourite is flexible pla - but for some reason it's getting really hard to source.
But there are abunch of reasonably stiff polyurethane filaments around now that are almost as good.
Now for nylon an enclosed printer with heated build volume is best.
For flexibles and pet-g - normal open printer is fine.
For fenders then a flexible pla or tpu (thermoplastic poly-urethane) would be ideal.
Scuff resistant, indestructible - easy to print with - if slow. And available in multuiple colours.
Also not over expensive.
