Need help!

I have downloaded a file from Thingiverse and when I try to print the file on my Anet A8 printer as soon as the print head starts to print the extruder temps drops back to 0. This is only happening on new prints I am trying to print. I can load an older file and it prints with no issues at all. I am using the Cura slicer and Tinkercad and I have no idea what the issue is. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Would check you slicers configurations, an verify that the settings are not telling the slicer to drop the temperature.

Would also send a M503 to the printer to get the settings hopefully your Anet A8 uses the M500 Commands.

Record the settings then do a restore to factory settings on your Anet A8,

M502 // Factory Reset - Marlin Firmware
M500 // Save Settings - Marlin Firmware

The Problem you are experiencing is either in Slicer or Printer configurations, most likely Cura Slicer.
