It amazes me how MakerBot can still sell printers for the prices they ask. With so many new 3D printers out there with really low prices, MakerBot must be relying on their name.

I'm not seeing it. FWIW, I just got my updated MAP (Minimum Advertised Pricing) policy from Makerbot and advertising anything less than full list price is strictly forbidden for all of us Makerbot resellers.

They are not advertising a lower price, that is why they use a coupon to get around MAP.
