Shapeways Social Has Launched

Shapeways has just introduced an entire social layer to their site. In what looks a bit like the photo sharing site Pinterest, they are now allowing users to follow designers and shops on the marketplace. In doing so users will be able to view their own personal stream at the 'my feed' link to see a curated list of all recent activity of those whom they follow. I like it. I'm usually one to shy away from change but overall this improves the usefulness of Shapeways in a big way. I think I am addicted now lo. I still have yet to buy anything from them, but I get a lot of cool 3D design ideas.
