3D Printed House 1.0 - By Emerging Objects

For those of you thinking about 3D printing your next home, you might want to skip traditional means like those used in China, and by companies using gigantic 3D printers A startup called Emerging Objects has designed a 3D printed house that uses salt and concrete to create what could be the most magnificent looking home I've every seen. They use a patented concrete polymer to print out the blocks for the exterior walls, while using a salt polymer which is very strong and waterproof to create interior vessel-like pods. It's really quite amazing.

Only in California would this be seen as a comfortable home... It just looks too alien, stark and flimsy to feel like a 'home' to me. But of course, that's just my opinion.
