Hello,

I am new to this forum. I did do a bit of searching before posting and couldn't find a similar issue. I have been printing for a couple of years now on and off. Recently my printer has started miss behaving slightly. I have a Monoprice Maker Select Plus 3D. The first layer is not coming in very well, part of it looks like chicken scratch. I am not sure what the issue is and wanted to ask here before I start tearing the extruder apart. The model was sliced in Cura and is on the google folder linked below along with pictures of the chicken scratch. I have been using a glue stick and I don't think the issue is with bed adhesion but has more to do with the extruder.

Other info:

Printing PLA
Bed Temp: 60 C
Extruder Temp: 200 C

What I have done so far:

Tried a different filament. (same issue)
Done half a dozen cold pulls (minor gunk, nothing major)
cried (didn't help)
Cleaned and re-leveld bed (didn't help)
