Vincent van Gogh's Ear 3D Printed
Talk about an amazing piece of art. An America artist named Diemut Strebe has 3D printed Vincent Van Goghs cut off ear. Not out of plastic, but out of human cells. Not any human cells, but cells which have his van Gogh's own DNA in them. The incredible piece is on display in Germany as we speak.
Using a bioprinter, he took DNA from van Gogh's great-grandson, and printed the ear to the likeness of the famed 19th century painter. The full details on this amazing piece of art can be found here: http://3dprint.com/5165/vincent-van-gogh-3d-printed-ear

My computer crashed just as I was going to "Post Quick Reply". I'm thinking it is best not to retype everything I typed in.

He was never married, but if I'm remembering right, he had at least one son with a prostitute who changed her name after Van Gough died.
