    looking for 3d software for flat surfaces such as walls

    I am looking for a 3d software similar to sketch up to use for making flat walls with raised surfaces such as door frames windows etc.
    any suggestions?

    Any CAD package will do this. I think maybe I am not understanding what you are looking to do.
