    Spring mount for bass drum pedal

    I was told you people might like this!
    The original part had a really sloppy design and eventually broke so I decided to make a new, better one. Designed in Solid Edge, cold printed cheap china PLA with 0.2 mm layer height, 0.8 density. Works like a charm!

    This is a very clever idea. Looks pretty good. How is it holding up so far?

    Thanks! Has worked just fine so far. You see the original solution was to have the threads inside the actual part, which was made from a way too porous material, so they eventually broke. Now I can tighten it just as hard as I want and IF I'd break the threads again I could just replace the screw and/or nut

    Well, I've been thinking about making a guitar capo. Would have to figure out how to make it fit to different guitar models though! If I make one I'll make sure to post it to thingiverse
