Model Finishing Guide - Anyone do this?

Thought I'd share a PDF of a model finishing guide meant for 3D prints on an FDM printer. I'm curious. How many of you guys have done any of this? I usually just print stuff out and leave them be. However, I guess a lot of people sand, shine, buff, and paint their prints. Is it worth doing?

The guide can be found at http://studiofathom.com/wp-content/u...ing-552014.pdf

I suppose it depends on what you're using your prints for. If they are just samples of what can be done with a 3D printer, then doing all that work tends to obscure the artifacts from printing that betray the true nature of the process. But if they are going to be used, for example, as props in a film, concept models for a product, or art pieces, then a lot more work can be warranted.
