Filament Preferences
Hi Guys, Anyone want to suggest a supplier or put forward their preference for makes of filament? It's a bit of a minefield out there and I am concerned about buying materials that are not up to scratch.

my current favourite is actually flashforge's own pla.
esun filament is also pretty good.
To be fair I haven't had any really bad filament for some years.

Some brands of PLA become brittle over time, in my experience the best brands are Colorfabb, EUMakers and 3DOM.

The sample that I had with the printer seemed OK but it was a lot more expensive than some of the others on sale. I suppose it is much like most other things - you get what you pay for!

Thanks, I have been looking at Colorfabb and will try a sample length to see how it compares with my current filament. Cheers for now - I'll let you know how I get on!

I've been having great luck printing Flashforge Black PLA. Looks superb on hi-res prints. Experimenting with their wood PLA right now too, really fun!
