Slop and Wiggle on the MakerBot Gen 5

This can't be too good.


Seems like everything can just move a little too much. Has anyone confirmed if this is a problem when printing or not?

Well it might tbh,

As far as the extruder goes tho, The bed etc isnt that bad, shouldnt be any problem.

As the X and Y are moving with that head well, It might? i aint sure as i have a prusa i3,
thats one can also wiggle a bit but as its only moving in the X, it doesnt interfere with the quality of my print.

It'll depend on the speed at which a part is printed most likely. I don't see it being much of a problem at lower speeds, BUT the Makerbot is built for some speed and paying $$$ for that is a bit of a rip off.
