LightFab Introduces Selective Laser Etching 3D Printer
LightFab, headquartered in Germany, has created a multi-faceted 3D printer for users creating objects in glass and then etching the materials. The hardware is meant to work directly with LightFab’s SLE process, which is a subtractive process which works in two steps. Users will find the SLE process beneficial as so little stress is applied to the material, and no support structures are required.
