Glue stick leaves spots on print
When I use gluestick for bed adhesion, the part of my print that is on the glue is left with very ugly shiny and matte spots as you can see on the left side of the image.
Is there anything that can be done against this?

You can use alcohol to wipe it down. Have you tried that?

Glue stick comes off with water.
The matte sections are from uneven distribution of the glue.
First step would be to completely clean off the print, making sure all the glue is gone. Then do a Acetone vapor bath to the print, assuming it's ABS. That will help smooth over any imperfections.
If your still not happy with that, try making a glue stick slurry. Mix the glue stick and water together and then apply that using a foam brush to your print bed. You can do this by just using a wet foam brush on the glued bed (pre heating!) and spreading it around very carefully and evenly. That should help with the glue distribution issue.
If you're still not happy with the product, try injection molding.

Have you tried hair spray? Some folks use that. I don't because I assume I'll end up with hair spray build up everywhere.
Please explain to me how to...
