So I found a website that claims to convert any of the following files into .STL files:
igs .iges .stp .step .brep .3ds .ase .dxf .stla .stlb .stl .wrl .iv .obj .swv .gmod .iv

The site is: http://www.3dtransform.com/ Does anyone know if this really works? I've been having a hard time converting some of my .step and .3ds files. I'm worried that this site will give me a virus or something though. Can anyone confirm if it does what it says it does?

I think there are a couple other sites that do this too. I've converted obj to stl files using similar sites. I doubt they will give you a virus.
