    ninjaflex question

    I have had luck printing very small items on ninja flex on my monoprice but when I go larger it seems I get the issue in this pic

    infill is 100%
    feedrate 10mm
    travel feedrate 100
    and temp is 230
    any suggestions?

    It looks like under-extrusion. This can be a common issue with flexible filaments. You can up your feed/flow rates on your slicer which would help. The best solution would be to physically prevent the filament from going anywhere but the nozzle. This could be done with a piece of tubing between the extruder motor and the top of the nozzle.

    drop your travel feedrate - a lot.
    Because you don't use retraction with flexible filaments, fast travels after slow printing will cause extra webbing and spikes in the material. For a 10mm/s print you want travel to be around 20mm/s.

    The picture shows you need to print hotter, go up in 5c increments untill it flows properly. And make sure you are using slow and minimal retraction.

    But first read the guide :-)

    The other thing you can do is to use polymaker's polyflex.
    Much much easier to print with than ninjaflex.
