Although the global tech giant HP Inc has had an exciting year in regard to 3D printing technology, their financial report for the year shows the company is in an overall funk. The most glaring issue of their fiscal year was their faltering earnings, which fell 63% to $492 million, a major drop from the $1.3 billion they had during this time last year. All the while, their annual profits were down $2.5 billion from the $4.6 billion they posted in 2015, while their printing department showed an annual revenue decrease of 14% to $18.3 billion. Still, HP attributes much of their struggle to the fact that they are restructuring their printing and PC core businesses, and are still poised to succeed in the 3D printing industry in the near future.
