Students at the University of Canterbury are getting a great education in the Classics, and at times they even get to pretend to act like a Roman from ancient times, holding a 3D printed replica of a cup, vase, or more—all stemming for the Logie Collection. As part of a program for Classics students that helps them to retain knowledge they are gaining in class, students see both the originals and 3D printed classics. Not only is this great for students, but the university can now share with other learning institutions more easily, even if overseas, because all they have to do is transfer a file and let them do the 3D printing. Some of the files will also be made available to the public for 3D printing as well. Read more at 3DPrint.com: https://3dprint.com/145508/u-of-cant...3dp-artifacts/
