Professional tutorial / paid skype support?

A few things I'm trying to do now are getting a bit difficult to do. While I can usually find resources for learning these are usually Solid and I'm looking for advice to use with MESH - that I can run on a slower computer.

For example, at the moment I need to trim the edge off a surfboard so to do this I could draw a line but really I want to know how to draw that outline using the outline of the board. This is a bit difficult to search for.
