Last Friday, the American aerospace company Boeing gathered in Seattle, Washington to celebrate their centennial. At the event, Dennis Muilenburg, the President and CEO of Boeing, laid out the company’s plans for the next 100 years of business, which according to him, will rely heavily on 3D printing technology and automation processes. In addition, Boeing also announced two ambitious projects for the future, one being to create a supersonic commercial flight, and the other to manufacture a rocket that can safely carry humans to Mars.
