Pop-up gastropub Food Ink. is making headlines for its innovative food production methods. While still using a team of chefs, the food is produced with a 3D printer, as are the furniture and flatware pieces in use. The first nine-course meal was served in Venlo, the Netherlands, and another series will be held in London at the end of July. Any ingredient that can be made into a paste can be used in the 3D printers, and experimentation is the watch word for this startup.
