Researchers in the UK at the University of Aberdeen have come up with a new system for diagnosing head trauma in the field. Meant for military use to perform quick brain scans and then produce 3D models, the new technology allows for medical personnel to quickly see if a soldier has bleeding in the brain. This could obviously be very helpful in the field and in combat, and if the product becomes available via other outlets, many others will probably want to make use of the diagnostic device besides the military.
