R.J. Hillan went to space camp seven times and it has paid off in his ability to design a multitool for use in outer space that was chosen as the winner of the Future Engineers challenge. The prize for the win was to have his design printed on the 3D printer on the International Space Station and then to be able to have a video chat with two of the astronauts about his design. Hillan is the first student to have his design printed in outer space and one of only a few to have ever had the honor to speak to astronauts while in space.
